HARRIS COUNTY STANDPIPE SYSTEM PLAN SUBMITTAL CHECKLIST

  • Name of owner and/or occupant per Harris County permit
  • Location, including correct street address (HC permit & plan addresses must match)
  • Name, address, and phone number of the installing company
  • Drawings must be stamped/signed/dated by R.M.E., Name, Address and Phone Number of Installing Company

Standpipe System

This will be a deferred plan submittal.

A Standpipe system is an arrangement of piping, valves hose connections and allied equipment installed in a building or structure, with the hose connections located in such a manner that water can be discharged in streams though attached hose and nozzles, for the purposes of extinguishing a fire, thereby protecting a building or structure and its contents in addition to protecting the occupants.

After Approval

After approval, you can pay fees online from your ePermits account.Once fees are paid you can download the approved plans and print out a paper copy of the permit. Please post the permit fully visible on project site and have a paper copy of the approved plans onsite during construction.
