The Office of the County Engineer has over 300 fleet vehicles in support of the many county-wide projects and responsibilities for which it has been tasked.  From roads and bridges to permits and property inspections, the chances are high that you may have seen one of our vehicles in the course of a workday.

While focusing on supporting the needs of the County's residents today, the Office of the County Engineer Fleet services is constantly looking ahead for ways to increase the uptime of our fleet, thus providing our fellow employees more time to serve the residents of Harris County. Additionally, progress is being made to reduce the environmental footprint of our Fleet. We will continue to work with local and federal partners to bring greater functional efficiency while also being mindful of the community we are helping to create today for constituents of tomorrow.
