As an extension to the permitting process, the Water Quality Inspectors conduct on-site inspections to ensure proper installation of OSSFs. Our Inspectors also respond to the citizen complaints that are made concerning failing or overflowing OSSF systems. Enforcement of Violations of State laws applicable to OSSFs generally takes place as misdemeanor violations handled in the Justice of the Peace Courts. Larger, more egregious cases can be sent to the County Attorney’s Office for Civil Prosecution.

Request Inspection of an Approved OSSF

When an OSSF design is approved and permitted, Initial and Final Inspections are required for the system.To request the Initial Inspection please use either of the following options.
